ATTENTION FLORIDA BIKERS:

HB-137 (FL): Who's really on our side? Who's really not?

Many of you who contacted Florida State District 113 Representative Carlos Lopez-Cantera [Carlos.Lopez-Cantera@myfloridahouse.gov] recently to protest "HB 137: Offenses Committed While Operating a Motorcycle"--a highly discriminatory and draconian proposal that would allow the state to seize bikes for certain traffic offenses--received a reply from Lopez-Cantera that included the following:

"I recently met with James Reichenbach [abatefl@worldnet.att.net] from ABATE, and after I explained the true intent of this legislation he told me that he would support it."
